Navi Mumbai International Airport has officially entered the international aviation network with the launch of its first overseas flight to Abu Dhabi. The Air India Express service, which will operate three times a week, marks the airport's transition from a domestic-only facility to an international gateway for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
